Which Types of Role Play a Traffic Control Person
A Flag Man is required under the Occupational Health & Safety Act and prescribed under The Traffic Manual Book 7 to ensure the safety of vehicles and pedestrians in temporary work zones on or adjacent to public roadways.
The Traffic Controller must meet the criteria of a competent person as defined under the Occupational Health & Safety Act and receive Traffic Control and Signaling training.
